Houston Congressman Dan Crenshaw says he's feeling hopeful two weeks after emergency surgery on his eye.
The former Navy SEAL lost his other eye in combat in Afghanistan in 2012.
Two weeks ago, Crenshaw revealed he had surgery for a detached retina in his remaining eye.
In a statement released through his Congressional office, Crenshaw said he is now able to see light-and-shadow. Furthermore, he says he is "hopeful and confident that it will return to normal."
