All the people and a few pets are okay following last night's fast-moving fire that damaged some duplexes in Richland Hills.
Officials say the two-alarm fire broke out just before 5:30 p.m. on Matthews Drive near Baker and Rufe Snow.
The fire started in a garage and spread two of the duplexes before it was brought under control.
Most of the residents had already escaped when the fire crews arrived but some were still inside and had to be helped out by firefighters.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
