The Roanoke Police Department is warning motorists to look out for skimmers at the pump.
According to the department, a skimming device was recently found in a gas pump off of the 1700 block of North US Highway 377.
Police did not specify the exact gas station, but the closest gas station is the 7-11 located at 1731 North US Highway 377.
Anyone who purchased gas at a station near this address from June 11th to July 13th is recommended to check their card statements for any suspicious or unauthorized charges and to contact the Roanoke police if any fraudulent activity is found.
