Dismissed a year ago, a sexual assault lawsuit against Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has now been revived by a Texas appeals court.

The woman bringing the lawsuit claims Jones "kissed her on the mouth and forcibly grabbed her without her consent" at AT&T Stadium in 2018.

A year ago, a Dallas judge tossed out the lawsuit saying the woman did not identify herself properly in court filings.

But Texas 5th Circuit Court of Appeals Justice Amanda Reichek has reversed the dismissal, saying the woman made what she calls "a good faith effort" to comply with the Dallas court's demands.

The lawsuit says the woman suffered "severe emotional distress" and "psychological pain and suffering" plus medical expenses.

Jones denies the accusations and calls them "malicious and hurtful." The case will now return to Dallas.
