Southwest Airlines has re-started flights with the Boeing 737-Max.

Dallas-based Southwest is the biggest customer for the jet and has cancelled thousands of flights since the aircraft were grounded in 2019.

The FA A recertified the Max in November, and Southwest was the last major airline in the US to start using it again.

Southwest says the 737-Max is scheduled for 32 flights today, but none are at Dallas Love Field. The airline says the Max won't return to Love Field until April 12th.

Fort Worth-based American Airlines had already started using the Max and says the first flight to DFW is due on April 2nd.
