Southwest Airlines is continuing several changes to its operations - now launching new vacation packages.
The move puts Dallas-based Southwest in better demand with other airlines that offer similar packages including Fort Worth-based American as well as United, Delta, and JetBlue.
The package, known as Getaways by Southwest, offers bundles to customers including air, hotel, car and ground transportation.
"Getaways by Southwest expands what Customers love about Southwest - flexibility, an award-winning Rapid Rewards loyalty program, and great perks - to the vacation experience," Southwest Vice President Phil Gouel said in a statement.
Southwest lists several destinations included in the package including Orlando, Cancun, Las Vegas and Hawaii among them.
For customers still bummed about bags no longer flying free, these packages will let you check two bags for free.
