Early voting for the presidential election starts next week, and Tarrant County officials are rolling out plans to ensure accurate results.
Tarrant County Judge Tim O’Hare announced several measures aimed at enhancing security and transparency. Elections Administrator Clint Ludwig recently held a mock election to demonstrate the system’s integrity to the public.
O’Hare said ballots will be sequentially numbered, ballot bags will be sealed by election judges, and election results will be delivered in person instead of online. Additionally, the county has implemented a more secure voter registration system, and a live-stream camera will monitor the ballot storage room.
Early voting runs through Nov 1.
