
Tarrant County Commissioners voted 4-to-1 on Thursday to approve early voting locations on college campuses.
The meeting room was packed for the vigorous debate, which included the potential closure of sites on college campuses. More than 100 people attended to voice their opinions.
After four hours of discussion, commissioners voted to approve 51 early voting sites, including one at the University of Texas at Arlington.
The lone vote against it was Tarrant County Judge Tim O'Hare. Two Republicans crossed party lines to vote against him.
