FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - Tarrant County has downgraded its community spread level from "high" to "substantial."
During Commissioners Court on Tuesday, Public Health Director Vinny Taneja said the case rate fell to below 100 per 100,000 on Monday
He pointed out that the level would need to remain below that threshold in order for the spread level to be officially downgraded.
After that held, the county was able to officially lower its community spread rate Wednesday.
