Texas Christian University is preparing for significant growth, unveiling plans for new housing developments and campus renovations aimed at accommodating a growing student body.

The university has partnered with two outside developers to add thousands of student beds and retail space near and on campus. One project, called Morado on Berry, will feature 780 luxury apartment-style beds along with 25,000 square feet of retail space. The complex is expected to be completed in time for the fall 2027 semester.

In addition, TCU is working with American Campus Communities to construct four new on-campus residence halls. The dorms will provide more than 2,400 beds for students, helping to meet increasing housing demand.

The school’s board of trustees has also approved a full renovation of Ed Landreth Hall and Auditorium, a historic performance and academic venue on campus.
