TCU campus police along with the Fort Worth Police Department are warning the neighborhood around the Fort Worth campus about a man seen trying to break into homes where many students live.
A statement from TCUPD says they received a report about an attempted burglary of an off-campus residence.
The report says two males entered a backyard in the 3100 block of Sandage and tried to open the back door at 4 am. One of the males seemed to be holding a firearm.
Students have been noticing a problem of late. They have filed police reports about stolen items including an outdoor barbecue.
