The first College Football Playoff rankings are out and undefeated TCU comes in at number 7.
The rankings are decided by a 13-member committee and their decision was revealed Tursday night. At the end of the season, the top four teams will participate in the playoff system leading to the 2023 National Championship Game to be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California.
In this first ranking, Tennessee sits atop the pile, followed by Ohio State, Georgia, Clemson, Michigan, Alabama and then the Horned Frogs.
Alabama has one loss while TCU is unbeaten so some Frogs fans are crying foul. The Frogs are 8-0 this season and 5-0 in the conference, putting them atop the Big 12 standings.
This Saturday, TCU travels to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech.
