Volunteers from Texas Baptist Men on standby to aid in hurricane relief

Several volunteers from the group Texas Baptist Men are watching the movement of Hurricane Ida as it approaches the Southeast Louisiana coast.

John Hall is with the group and tells KRLD, they have been watching the storms track for several days. "All of our disaster relief volunteers are on standby right now to serve," Hall said.

Hall said members of the group will head to South Louisiana Monday morning with multiple teams, including a large kitchen and a chainsaw team as part of the relief efforts.
