Texas Motor Speedway is already home to the world's biggest HD LED video board dubbed "Big Hoss."

It's about to get even bigger.

The track in far north Fort Worth is in the midst of replacing its nine-year-old video board with one that's bigger, sharper and brighter.

The old video board was certified by the Guinness Book of World Records in April of 2014 as the biggest HD LED video board in the world, just days after it was unveiled.

The new video board along the track's backstretch will grow by ten-percent to 22,692 sq. ft.

To put that in perspective: That's almost twice the size of the humongous scoreboard dangling from the roof of AT&T Stadium.

The new Big Hoss along the track's backstretch will have 22% more pixels, will have 20% higher resolution and will be 16% brighter.

"This new and greatly improved Big Hoss TV screen will provide a major upgrade to the fan experience for the NASCAR Playoffs at Texas Motor Speedway," says Marcus Smith, Speedway Motorsports President and CEO. "The project also demonstrates our continuing Fans First commitment to provide the best amenities at our sports entertainment venues."

The video board will be installed in time for the Autotrader EchoPark Automotive 400 NASCAR Playoff weekend Sept. 23rd and 24th.
