The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra hosts four straight nights of incredible music a the Fort Worth Botanic Garden this weekend. On Thursday night, it’s the Music of Led Zeppelin, on Friday night catch REWIND: Music of the 80s, Saturday night it’s Star Wars, and on Sunday night the orchestra gets a night off and Pat Green performs.

Cruel Intentions: The '90s Musical

In an epic game of cat and mouse, two diabolically charming step-siblings place a bet, and vow to destroy anyone who gets in their way. Seduced by passion and revenge, this devious duo spins a web of dangerous liaisons, and they soon find themselves entangled in the cruelest game of all: love.

This engaging musical was adapted from the film, Cruel Intentions, written and directed by Roger Kumble, who updated the source material of Les Liasons Dangereuses from 18th century France to New York in the 90s. He and co-creators Lindsey Rosin and Jordan Ross peppered the script with some of the best tunes of the period, making this one both a naughty-fun and way-tuneful ride!

Dallas Arboretum: Pride in Bloom

It’s the 2nd annual Pride in Bloom on June 10-11. The event returns with two full days of music, chef demos and local vendors. Dallas Arboretum: Summer at the Arboretum

DMA: "Movement: The Legacy of Kineticism"

Exploring the power of kineticism in art and featuring 80 works drawn from the Museum’s permanent collection, Movement: The Legacy of Kineticism showcases the work of artists from three historical eras that utilize optical effects or mechanical or manipulable parts to engage the viewer physically or perceptually. Meanwhile, an interactive work that welcomes and draws you into the exhibition...Soares’s Vagalume…invites viewers to pull chains, turning lightbulbs on or off. The title of this work means Firefly.

DSO: Cliburn International Junior Piano Competition

The best 13- to 17-year-old pianists from around the globe are coming to Dallas.

Through four rounds of competition, including a stunning final round with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, these elite young artists will showcase their virtuosity and touch our hearts with their sincere musicality.

They’ll develop as musicians, with a host of opportunities to learn from top international pianists, experts, and each other.

Denton Drive Live!!

Hey music fans, Denton Drive Live!, the award-winning, free outdoor concert series produced by the City of Farmers Branch, returns again in 2023! On June 10, It's Cajun Night in the Grove. Roots Southern Table hosts their annual crawfish boil. It’s great food, conversation, and music. Bring your appetite for their fresh crawfish, potatoes, corn, and sausage!

FWBG: ZimSculpt

The Fort Worth Botanic Garden is excited to announce its first-ever Zimbabwean sculpture exhibit, ZimSculpt, which runs April through July 2023 throughout the Garden. ZimSculpt features more than 100 exquisite sculptures by several dozen contemporary Zimbabwean artists. Known as Shona sculpture, these contemporary pieces are carved from various types of serpentine and semi-precious stone, often weighing tons, and can be as large as seven feet tall.

Greater Tuna

Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Collection

The Arlington Museum of Art presents an exclusive exhibition of 12-time Grammy award-winner Taylor Swift which explores the evolution of her artistic expression. Curated by the Arlington Museum of Art from Swift’s own private collection, Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Collection, presented by HELP Center, is an exploration of Swift as an evolving, boundary-pushing artist. The exhibition will feature original costumes, photographs, videos, and more representing several of her creative periods, or “eras.”

Highlights of the exhibition are eight costumes worn by Swift from her record-breaking albums Midnights, folklore, Red (Taylor’s Version) and Fearless (Taylor’s Version).
