A third man has been captured and charged in an attempted carjacking in North Dallas.
In late December, three men tried to carjack a Maserati on Lovers Lane near the Dallas North Tollway.
The would-be victim put up a fight and one of the carjackers got shot and was taken to the hospital. He gave police there a story about being wounded in a South Dallas drive-by but nothing about his tale panned out.
Instead, police used cell phone records and surveillance video to put LeQuezio Dade at the scene of the carjacking along with a man named Anthony Primers, who were both charged with aggravated robbery.
Police have been looking for the third man and now they say they have him. Kylan Owens has been booked into the Dallas County jail, also on charge of aggravated robbery.
