Three Fort Worth men are in federal custody after being busted by ATF this week.

The arrests were announced by the United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas.

The men -- Khalid Amill, Rondell Jones and Michael Smith -- are charged with taking part in a "conspiracy to deal in firearms without a license and possession of a firearm."

Court documents claim they bragged they could obtain fully automatic rifles which have been illegal for civilians to possess for nearly 100 years.

Three other men were arrested on drug charges.

All six appeared before a federal magistrate in Fort Worth Thursday.
