In an update to a story we brought you earlier this week, a total of four teenagers have been arrested in connection with a fatal shooting during a drug deal at a Burleson park, police said Friday.
The shooting happened Sunday night at Bailey Lake Park, where officers says they found 17-year-old Keighan Robert Crist dead and another teen wounded. Investigators quickly identified 17-year-old Wyatt Lynn Jacobs as a suspect, locating him in a vehicle parked in a Burleson neighborhood shortly after the attack. Police said Jacobs admitted his involvement during an interview with detectives.
Jacobs was arrested Sunday on suspicion of capital murder and aggravated robbery and booked Monday into the Johnson County Law Enforcement Center with bond set at $1.2 million.
Police announced Friday that three additional teenage suspects had also been taken into custody, Joel Garcia of Fort Worth, Julio Duarte of Burleson, and Gustavo Gil Jr of Alvarado. All four are being held at the Johnson County Jail on $1.2 million bond each.
