A tip led Dallas police to a storage facility where officers seized nearly 400 pounds of marijuana and arrested a man on felony drug charges, authorities said.
The Dallas Police Department's Special Investigations Division received information about a large shipment of marijuana being prepared for transport into the city, the department said in a statement.
Detectives tracked the shipment to a storage facility in the 4300 block of Communications Drive. After developing probable cause and securing a search warrant, officers executed the warrant on Aug. 6.
Inside the unit, police found approximately 398 pounds of marijuana.
Zhenqi Lin, 47, was arrested at the scene and charged with possession of marijuana between 50 and 2,000 pounds, a second-degree felony. He has since bonded out of jail.
The investigation is ongoing.
