A south wind is back and that will warm temperatures close to 70ﾟ today, lower seventies tomorrow. Clouds will also invade the area overnight tonight and it should stay mostly cloudy during the day tomorrow tomorrow. Wind gusts to 30mph are possible.
Our next brief weather change arrives while you're sleeping in the Thanksgiving morning. A strong cold front will plow through the area bringing a chance for scattered showers and non severe thunderstorms early Thanksgiving morning. You will wake up to wet streets, but most of the rain should have pressed south and east of the DFW area.
Temperatures will be in the low to mid sixties early Thanksgiving morning, but will rapidly fall through the fifties during the day. Factoring a gusty north wind to 35mph, it'll feel more like the forties by dinner time.
Please protect your plants before heading to bed Thanksgiving evening. There's going to be a widespread freeze across north Texas. However, ee may be slightly above freezing in the immediate dfw area.
The biggest shopping day of the year, Friday, temperatures will only be in the mid to up or fifties, but less wind.
