Today was the final day of Tulipalooza in Waxahachie, the festival celebrating the turn of the season, with brightly colored flowers on display at the Waxahachie Convention Center.
Visitors took time to walk among the flowers and take pictures with the vibrant tulips on display. After spending time with the flowers, visitors celebrated the warmer weather with live music, food trucks, a petting zoo, and a car show.

Some even took advantage of bringing part of Tulipalooza home with them to celebrate the return of spring.
The stunning flowers were imported from Holland and planted by Dutch farmers in Texas.
Revenue from tickets for the event was directed towards one of several North Texas charities and the Poston Gardens Foundation to support Daymark Living, a home for adults with intellectual developmental disabilities.
