The damages are still being totaled at Aledo Middle School where a fire broke out Monday night.
Parker County Emergency Services firefighters were called out just past 7 p.m. because of an automatic fire alarm. The first fire crews there determined it was a working fire and quickly added a second alarm.
Firefighters contained the flames to the part of the building where the fire started. They remained on scene late into the night overhauling the fire and ventilating the building. The Aledo Fire Marshal's Office is investigating but there's no decision on a cause, yet.
