A vigil will be held tonight at Dallas Baptist University in memory of two student killed in a crash over the weekend.
On Saturday night, two cars collided on Mountain Creek Parkway about two miles from the Dallas Baptist campus. A total of five Dallas Baptist students were in the two cars, one of which rear-ended the other.
Two freshmen, Kaitlyn Kotzman and Karina de la Rosa, both aged 18, were killed. The other three students were hurt their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
On Sunday, university President Adam Wright said in a written statement that "we are praying for the families of all those involved."
Counseling will be offered to friends and classmates.
A campus-wide prayer service is scheduled for 7 p.m. tonight at Dallas Baptists' Pilgrim Chapel.
