Two men are in the hospital after being shot in Uptown Dallas Sunday evening.
Police officers working off-duty security at Turkey DAM, a McKinney Avenue bar, heard the gunfire about 8 p.m. according to reports.
As the officers ran to the scene, the two wounded men approached them for help. One was shot in the leg, the other in the shoulder and leg.
Police closed a portion of Fairmount Street, just off McKinney Avenue, while they investigated the shooting.
Several officers and detectives also spoke to witnesses in front of the bar. So far, there's no word on who shot the men or why.
