FIFA says more than two million people have celebrated the World Cup at the various Fan Festivals happening across North America.
While the largest number of fans are packing into festivals in the three Mexico host cities, there is plenty of enthusiasm across the United States host cities.
FIFA singled out Dallas and Houston as being two host cities usually operating at capacity.
Atlanta, Kansas City, and Miami are showing similar results.
FIFA says the two million mark was reached right around the time the first round of Group Stage matches was wrapping up.
