Dallas police take several guns, two suspects, into custody after series of armed robberies

Dallas police seized a number of guns and made arrests connected to a series of robberies in Northeast Dallas.

19-year-old Jontae Anderson was arrested on charges of Aggravated Robbery. Multiple other charges are pending.

Dallas police say an associate, 21-year-old Curtis Carter, was also arrested on several outstanding warrants.

The arrests come after a number of armed robberies in the northeast area of the city and police connect them during their investigation.

Police seized several pistols with extended magazines as well as a short-barreled AR-15 with a 60-round magazine.

Over 200 rounds of ammunition were also seized and police discovered a stolen purse.
