Two women have died in the weekend wrong-way crash in Ellis County.
Late Friday night, a wrong-way driver slammed into another vehicle on Highway 287 between Midlothian and Waxahachie. The driver of the wrong-way vehicle was killed on impact as was a passenger.
A second passenger and the driver of the other vehicle were taken to hospital by Care-Flite with what police call life-threatening injuries. Investigators have not said why the wrong-way driver was going against traffic.
