Police say someone taped up a box with puppies inside and dumped it on the side of a Fort Worth freeway.
It just looked odd to a Good Samaritan when he saw someone dumping a box on the side of the road near FM 1187 & I-35W. So he decided to check it out.
When he got closer to the box, he noticed it was heavily duct taped but the nose of a puppy sticking out one of the cracks. What he found inside floored him. 8 puppies, all alive and well, yapping away.
He took them all to the Humane Society of North Texas to be checked out. They look to be some type of lab mix.
The Humane Society of North Texas is asking for donations or foster homes to help these puppies get healthy before they can be adopted.
No word yet on if police are investigating.
