The Great Resignation sure seems to be over at this point, and it's getting replaced by the Great Layoff. The economy and inflation are causing a lot of companies to cut back on their workforce.
Amazon is letting more than 10,000 people go. Facebook's parent company is dumping 11,000. Even Disney isn't immune to layoffs.
It's bad enough to get laid off, it's almost worse to get the axe right around the holidays.
