A woman is dead after being stabbed in a child custody dispute in Fort Worth.
On Tuesday, Fort Worth police were called out to an address on John T. White Road near Loop 820. They found the female victim badly wounded and she died at the scene.
Witnesses saw the man with the knife run into the nearby apartment complex. Police tracked him down and arrested him.
Officials say the suspect, Gerald Walker was booked into the Tarrant County jail late last night.
From what police learned, Walker and the victim were struggling over a child when Walker pulled the knife and stabbed her. A second woman was also stabbed. Her condition has not been released.
Walker is up on one count of murder and one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
