Former President Donald Trump was in rare form during his campaign event in New Hampshire on Saturday.
During the event, Trump made fun of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis for wearing boots, saying he wears lifts to make himself appear taller.
"I'm not wearing lifts either, by the way. I don't have six-inch heels," Trump said to the crowd, which applauded and laughed.
The former president then performed an impression of DeSantis apparently struggling to walk at the third GOP debate in Miami.
"The greatest moment of the debate was when Ron DeSanctimonious was walking off the stage and his feet, it's weird, cause his cowboy boots have a high heel outside but the inside you got a big deal going on and he's walking like this," Trump continued, while walking away from the podium and flailing his arms in the air. "He's walking off the stage like he's trying to balance himself. I thought he was wearing ice skates."
Trump concluded his rant by saying it's nonsense to try to make yourself appear taller.
"What difference does that make, right? What difference, when you think about it, what difference does that make," he said.
DeSantis previously addressed attacks about his footwear and height, while also throwing shade at Trump for not attending the debates.
"This is no time for foot fetishes. We've got serious problems as a country," he told Newsmax.
"I know Donald Trump and a lot of his people have been focusing on things like footwear. I'll tell you this," DeSantis added. "You know, if Donald Trump can summon the balls to show up to the debate, I'll wear a boot on my head."
