One victim has died in Monday night's one-alarm apartment fire in North Oak Cliff.
Dallas Fire crews were called to an eight-unit building on North Lancaster near East Colorado and Jefferson. There was heavy smoke flowing from the building and firefighters really laid on the water.
Report say crews moved inside and came upon a person already dead in a first-floor unit. Commanders are not sure if the victim died from the fire and the Dallas County Medical Examiner will have to make that determination.
The most heavily damaged unit is the one where the fire started but other units have smoke and water damage.
