Employees from the City of Abilene have produced a music video to encourage people to dispose of their lawn waste and recyclable materials instead of allowing them to wind up in the nearest creek. It's part of an effort to protect water quality.

The video is posted on the city's YouTube Page.

It's called "No Dumping, No Doubt" and follows the music of the 1996 hit "No Diggity".

It specifically references several local creeks and streams in the Abilene area that need protection.

People who witness hazardous waste spills, illegal dumping or water pollution can call the Abilene City Marshal's Environmental Crimes division at 325-676-3867.
