On Thursday, we heard about the death of O.J. Simpson. He has been in hospice after a long fight against prostate cancer.
This is a topic that a lot of men just don't know much about.. and they tend to not want to talk about it.
It also points out the fact that prostate cancer is a real health threat to men... and Black men are at a much higher risk of coming down with it.
The American Cancer Society says Black men are 1 1/2 times more likely to get prostate cancer than White men. And Black men are twice as likely to die from it. Black men also get prostate cancer 3 to 9 years earlier.
On today's Ask The Expert, Dr. Pat Fulgham joined us. He's a Urologist and the Surgical Director of Oncology at Texas Health Presbyterian.
