It seems just about everything Chip and Joanna Gaines touch turns into a success, and now the couple is hoping to bring that magic to television once again.
On Sunday, Joanna’s new show, ‘Silos Baking Competition,’ premiered on Magnolia Network. The show features five chefs competing to create the perfect recipe for a $100,000 prize and the opportunity to have their baked goods sold at Magnolia’s Silos Baking Co.
‘Silos Baking Competition’ is the next venture Chip and Joanna Gaines will use to bring people to Waco, as the new series that premiered on Sunday will sees contestants competing in front of a live audience at the couple’s shopping complex in Waco.
According to Dallas Morning News, there will be a new episode every Sunday through June 25, airing on Magnolia Network, Discovery+ and Max.
The show’s winner will receive a $100,000 prize and their winning confection will join the menu at Magnolia’s Silos Baking Co. through September 4. Guest judges for the show will include Andrew Zimmern, Zoë François, Casey Corn and Abner Ramirez, along with several appearances by Chip Gaines.
Maybe the winning baked treat will be the Gaines’ next great product.
