A soldier from North Carolina found dead at Fort Bliss in December died from an accidental drug overdose, according to the report from the Armed Forces medical examiner.
The AFME says PFC Asia Graham's cause of death is Accidental Mixed Drug Intoxication. A mixture Fentanyl and synthetic cannabinoids, often called K-2.
Her family tells reporters she was sexually assaulted by another soldier and reported to her chain-of-command at Fort Bliss.
After Graham died, the other soldier identified as PFC Christian Alvarado, was charged with sexual assault.
