Police in Houston are investigating a deadly home invasion where two men disguised as law enforcement were shot and killed.
Investigators say the suspects showed up at a home wearing tactical vests and fake police badges, claiming they had a warrant.
The homeowner grew suspicious and, when the men opened fire, he shot back. Both intruders were killed on the spot.
Officers who arrived at the scene attempted CPR but were unable to revive them.
Authorities say the homeowner is cooperating fully with the investigation.
So far, no charges have been filed, and detectives are working to determine the identities of the suspects and their motive.
