The FBI says the 20-year-old from Jordan is believed to have used social media to post about killing Jewish people and researching how to build bombs.

Professor Danny Davis with the Texas A&M Bush School of Government and Public Service says he believes agents had Sohaib Abuayyash on their radar given what's been going on in Israel.

Reports show Abuayyash conducted actual training with others of a "radical mindset," with illegally gotten weapons. And that he entered the country on a non-immigrant visa that expired in 2019. He had since applied for asylum and gotten work authorization.

According to court documents he spoke of becoming a martyr and had also been researching how to build bombs.
