A travel nurse from Houston will be charged with murder following last week's high-speed crash that killed six people in California.
Charges against Nicole Linton were announced Monday. Last week, she was arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of "vehicular manslaughter with gross negligence" as the charge is called in California.
Police believe she was going at least 90 mph when she ran a red light at a very busy Los Angeles intersection, slamming into several vehicles.
Six people died including a baby and a woman due to give birth any day. Eight other people were injured.
Linton was working on temporary nursing assignment in the Los Angeles area.
