A killer is on the run in Harris County where a Cracker Barrel manager was gunned down over the weekend.
Before the Houston restaurant even opened, an armed man forced his way inside apparently trying to rob an employee.
Manager Robin Baucom intervened to protect her employee and was shot in the chest. She leaves her husband, three children and three grandchildren.
The killer and a getaway driver are still on the loose.
