What would you do if you walked outside and found a massive swamp creature in your driveway? Neighbors in Harris County had to figure it out this week when they stumbled upon a 10-foot-long alligator hanging out in their neighborhood.
The critter was discovered in Atascocita, about 30 miles northeast of Houston. Residents say there are other gators in the neighborhood bayou, but none as big as this one.
A specialist needed to be called in to help get the gator off the streets. He put a hoodie over its head and tied it up. With help from a tow truck, he was able to get the gator into the bed of his pickup and deliver it to Animal Control.
