A motorcycle rider is dead because of a crash in Kaufman County last night.
Just past 8 p.m. Sheriff's deputies were sent to a scene on F-M 429 near Ables Springs, between Terrell and Lake Tawakoni. They found one person, the rider, who was pronounced dead on the scene by a justice of the peace.
Investigators have not said why the rider lost control.
