UT Austin is ranked the top public university in Texas in 2022 by US News and World Report.
Out of public universities nationwide, UT Austin tied with the University of California at Davis and the University of Wisconsin in Madison for the number 10 spot overall.
Counting both public and private universities across the country, UT tied with the same schools for the Number 38 spot.
Rice University in Houston is the report's top private university in Texas and 15th nationwide.
