For the second time this month, Texans are heading to the polls to vote. Early voting in the runoffs ends on Friday while election day is Tuesday, May 24th.
Voters have to select their final candidates for the fall midterms. A recent Dallas Morning News-UT Tyler poll indicates Governor Greg Abbott continues to lead Democratic challenger Beto O'Rouke by seven points - those numbers haven't changed much but the election is still six months away.

And while it's not on the ballot the poll shows an overwhelming number of Texans support legalizing marijuana. 83 percent want it legalized for medical use while 60 percent want it legalized for recreational use.
Abbott says his position hasn't changed. He supports some medical use but he is against legal weed in Texas. Beto supports the complete legalization of the drug.
