The state of Texas is going after adult-themed websites for not enforcing a state law aimed at protecting minors.

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against Aylo Global Entertainment, which runs several pornography websites, Pornhub included.

At issue is a Texas law that requires age verification measures to keep minors from seeing obscene material. The lawsuit says anyone who goes to that website sees adult content right away.

Last November, Paxton won a case at the US 5th Circuit Court of Appeals allowing Texas to enforce the law.

Companies not in compliance are subject to steep fines.
