Anyone who has ever purchased a scratch off ticket at some point believes they have just bought a winner. Sadly, rarely does that come true, but for one Texan, they actually picked out the golden ticket. The winner purchased a scratch off ticket that ended up being worth $1 million.
Texas Lottery recently announced someone has purchased their final $1,000,000 Crossword top prize. The winner came from Borger; a small town near Amarillo.
"This was the last of four top prizes worth $1 million to be claimed in this game. $1,000,000 Crossword offers more than $137.4 million in total prizes. Overall odds of winning any prize in the game are one in 3.42, including break-even prizes," claims the Texas Lottery website.
According to CW33, the ticket was purchased at an Allsups store. The winner wants to remain anonymous. Hopefully they don't spend the winnings on more lottery tickets.
