After voting on the bipartisan Infrastructure Investment bill that cleared, House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee member Texas Congressman Colin Allred has issued a statement on the importance of the bill set to go to the President's desk for his signature.
Allred issued a statement on Saturday saying because of the rapid growth in North Texas, investment in infrastructure isn't just optional. He says it -- it is a necessity. He said Congress has an obligation to deliver real results for the American people and this bill does just that.
Allred hosted Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg earlier this year in Dallas to showcase how important infrastructure investment will be to economic growth in North Texas.
