Minnesota Vikings receiver K.J. Osborn and three other people are getting credit for risking their lives to save a man from a burning car in Austin this week.
On Monday, Osborn was in an Uber when the driver happened upon a crash. A car had slammed into a bridge support pillar and burst into flames.
Osborn, the Uber driver and two other witnesses jumped into action. Worried about an explosion, Osborn tells ESPN's Adam Schefter he approached the car cautiously but the Uber driver went straight to it and yanked the door open to see if the driver was still alive.
When he realized he was, the four Good Samaritans cooperated to get him out of the fiery wreckage.
Osborn says a firefighter told him the driver would have certainly died if they had not been there to save him.
Osborn has posted a selfie with the other three on his social media, writing "most of the time the saying goes 'wrong place wrong time.' But this time I believe God had me, us, at the right place at the exact right time."
