In an NCAA Men's Basketball Tourney play-in game last night, Texas Southern defeated Texas A&M Corpus Christi 76 to 67.
As the 16th seed, the Tigers will now meet Midwest Region top-seed Kansas in the opening round of the tournament at Fort Worth's Dickies Arena Thursday.
This is Texas Southern's fourth NCAA tournament berth since 2017.
