To maximize brain-meltage we’ll be projecting live on four different physical media formats, from unhinged 35mm trailers, to insane experimental animation, to the most mesmerizing and mysterious bits we can pull from the depths of our VHS shelves. Psychedelic, funny, weird, and all in celebration of physical media and the endless worlds beyond our reach, this is one night your eyeballs may never recover from (in the best possible way)! For the On Air Contest: Physical Media Mind-Melters, listen to KROQ from 7:00am (PT) on Monday, September 28, 2026 through 11:00am (PT) on Friday, October 2, 2026 for the cue to call. The correct caller as announced on-air at the time of the cue to call to (800) 520-1067 upon verification of eligibility, receive two (2) tickets to Physical Media Mind-Melters at Vidiots on October 6, 2026. The Approximate Retail Value of the prize is $26.00, courtesy of Vidiots. There will be up to five (5) winners. The winner(s) and any guest(s), if applicable, must comply with any and all COVID-19 vaccination, screening, testing, safety and related requirements imposed or required by (if applicable) the Station, the venue, event promoter, sponsors, travel providers, hotels, governmental authorities or others in connection with the receipt, use, and redemption of the prize.
